    Dear Dr I. Ronic,
Last night the chardonnay sipping liberal Harry Reid said at the Democrat convention, “Attacked at home by oil-funded terrorists, at war abroad with oil-funded insurgents, threatened in global markets and faced with acquisition of our industrial base by oil-funded multinationals, we must defend America or face her utter destruction…the most terrible irony, is that we finance them every time we pump gas or pay utility bills.” What’s your call? Ironic or not ironic?
Also, why does he hate our troops?

I would say that Senator Reid is wrong and it is Not Ironic! It would be ironic if you expected governments and citizens to act in a perfectly rational, consistent manner, which of course no one expects! As to your follow up question, an answer to that is beyond the scope of the Not Ironic service.

Oh man I love this.  Glad someone did this.  Another thing that kills me… “I am so humbled by this occasion.”  What? really?  millions of people are throwing adoration your way and you’re HUMBLED?  I think that’s the exact opposite of being humbled.  Being adored by millions and suddenly finding yourself homeless on the streets with no friends and no money would be humbling.
